My Society is Me
Everything is just society
What suffers touch, smell, sight
And you and me
All creation living free
Each to its own accounting.
Take me. My society is me
Maybe home to crab and flea
E-Coli, bacteria ride with glee
Light and water and Vitamin B
We've named a lot of little bits
Who get together and throw fits
Electrons, photons, boson's mates
All stick together and life creates
There's competition even from rain
To break it down and start again
Heavy water and fission slaughter
Sediments in the river transporters
Darkness hosts our bold conjectures
Mind's abyss and light thief fixtures
Super symmetrical strings and things
Imagination's supernatural beings
What puts the spin on good and bad?
The doom of decadence in the time we've had,
Or the celebration of real existence
Beating rhythm with reminiscence
Now close your eyes and hypnotise
All selves inside who sympathise
As the inner eye begins to wake
Have will cast demons in the wake
