A job begun is half done, a stitch in time saves nine,
Charity begins at home and this light-of-foot is on the run.
There's no skin thicker than on the fool the wise man knows himself,
And thicker underfoot, he takes on burning coals.
Not always as you like it nor as the prose would say it
As the fool and his money are soon parted, recession strikes in 2008.
